It's been sometime since our last visit. The food was really good as usual. Because of this virus, take out only. Still give the catfish dinner 5stars

You'll did your thing today! From the DJ in the parking lot, to giving all the mothers a rose, to the outstanding customer service, and the awesome food! Great Job you guys! You'll made my mom's mother's day even more special!!

Food was great. The services was very professional and patient.

This is my favorite basic seafood place. If you want fancy seafood pass but if you want great basic fried or broiled seafood this is the place. The shrimp cocktail is great although a little pricey you do get 6 huge shrimp and my entree of choice is the choose your own fried plate and I get the Alaskan White fish salt and pepperd and some kind of shrimp depends on my mood. They give you so much food you can expect enough left overs for another meal. Heat is in the oven and it's great.

Traditional southern fish camp. You know what you're getting into---fried seafood and lots of hush puppies. I usually eat at the one right inside of SC since it's down near work (popular consensus among peers is that it is better), but I've eaten at this one 5 or 6 times over the years. It's the type of meal that you can only eat now and again and not feel like your arteries are clogging up.

They didn't get my order right. The place smelled better than the food tasted. The man behind the counter was also bland. No smoke no emotion.. Nothing. Not welcoming. I'm going to blame the pandemic. Normally when I dine in the food is great.

Our first visit here and it did not disappoint.The food was amazing! Large portions and delicious. Our waitress Camry was the best ever! Brought enough food home for another meal! We will be making a return trip for sure! If you have never been you should definitely try it..you will love it.

Best seafood you can find south of New England... I guarantee

Yesterday was the 1st time that we did notenjoy our fish. It was hard and very dry andthe other plate fish were fry dark. Collard greens was very salted. We were not veryhappy, because how far we came to getour plates. We feel that we should be giving 2 plates of perch freshly cook and not hard fry , dry and dark like that. Collardgreen without a lot of salt. Thank yoy

Captain Steve's has always been my favorite seafood restaurant in Harrisburg, NC. They have a wide selection of fish and shrimp that are so delicious. I also like that kids under 3 get a free shrimp combo... That's awesome! The salt and pepper fried tilapia I had was cooked to perfection and their hush puppies are addictive.

Accompanied by my wife and sister, we enjoyed a good meal but even better service. Our waitress Connie, went over and above expectations to ensuring that we had a pleasant dining experience. She was attentive, friendly and delightful in informing us about the specials. If you want first class service be sure to ask to be seated in Connie's section!

On such a very cold day l wanted something to warm me up. Here is my solution Absolutely beautiful piping hot She Crab soup. The people who run this place are always welcoming and helpful. I have never had it before so I asked about it to see if it was something worth trying. The gentleman offered a sample and I was sold. Made with a cream base, lump crab and Sherry made in house. For someone who is not a soup person for a nice portion at $6.95 (might be a couple of cents off) you get a flavorful piping bowl of some one who knows what they are doing. If that does not get you going they have plenty of yummy goodies for you to try including dessert. They stay packed which is a great sign. But if you are not one for crowds like myself go to the to-go entrance and carry out. Definitely this place is a must try.

Try to hide your complimentary hush puppies until your food comes because you will eat so many of these hush puppies ... well ... you will have to take home what is left on your plate because you just can’t eat it all. Excellent quantities and quality at good prices. Order some more hush puppies for your box to go! You will not believe this place until you try it!If you want a real deal stop by for any of the lunch specials! Unbelievable value for a plate full that I just bet you can’t even eat it all and you’ll ask for a box to take it home.Don’t have time to eat in the dining room? Call in a takeout and pull to the back of the restaurant because they have a totally separate take out facility connected to the back of their kitchen. No restaurant I know of puts more in a box than the Captain Steves!

Always a great experience here. The food is quick and our service is always excellent. I forget his name but I always request the young man with the glasses. I have several servers here and he is by far the best. Always friendly and always checking on the table several times, no matter how busy he is. The food is always great and the prices are great as well.

Our server was very attentive and friendly, he always wanted to make sure we had everything we needed whether it be napkins or condiments or anything else. We got a lot of food for a decent price, and it tasted good as well. If you love seafood as much as I do this restaurant is a good place to go.

Captian Steve's is delicious, They have a menu of choice if you don't want seafood. Recently went on a diet of no fried food.Have a grilled menu. Love it!
